Thanks for visiting with us at Pura Vida and allowing us
to participate in some small way in your Tropical Adventure.
The next few pages we offer you a tour, photographed by us,
of some aspects of the hotel and travels in Costa Rica.
The natural beauty of Costa Rica
starts early as you awaken to the sounds of the Jiquero,
the sights of Poas Volcano from the hotel garden and a myriad of bees and butterflies
reporting for duty . . . Pura Vida!

1). The Hotel Photo Album
These photos were all taken at Pura Vida in the Casitas, the Casa or the Garden. From early

These photos were taken in the private restaurant of Pura Vida or on our food sarafis
to our excellent sources that we need to prepare the freshest foods.
Reservations are required as we buy for that day and do not serve every night.

4). The Hotel Day Trips and More Album
These photos were all taken on day trips
or on visits to places you can visit within a few hours of the hotel.
Such trips may include the delightful Zoo Ave just 5 km from the hotel or Irazu volcano (the photo
here is at the top of Irazu) two hours from here.
We have lots of ideas and will try to advise you so you don't feel too rushed.

5). The Touring Album
We have assembled a few of our 1000's of photos taken while we tour every part of
the country we can. There are photos from the Caribbean, a trip to Panama, a most
interesting rural tour we took to the remote Chira island, a trip to the indigenous villages of Boruca and Yorkin
as well as journeys to Manuel Antonio, Arenal and Monteverde. If you have ideas for a Tropical Adventure
ask us about it and we are happy to opine.

6). The "Our Town" Album
These are some photos we took in and around Alajuela. This is the second largest town
in Costa Rica and is 22 km from the capital, San Jose. The main regional hospital is here as well as
the primary International airport. Next to this airport is the SANSA regional
airport allowing you quick access to air strips throughout Costa Rica.
